BLACK AND WHITE





in this project, i was tasked with taking a photo from color to black and white and then recoloring it using masking tools in photoshop. 

i really did not enjoy this one.  the process was cumbersome and tedious, and the technology didn't work that well. i was not happy with the outcome.  i tried, but in the end, it just looks creepy.

final project yay!  this was an animation using photoshop.  WOW, this was a LOT of work.  i appreciate disney so much more now.  it was a lot of work, but i learned a ton and thought my final product was cute and cohesive.  being a perfectionist there are a lot of things i might do differently with more practice and time, but ultimately i am proud of the outcome and can say with certainty i learned a lot. probably more than i did with all my other projects combined.

  this image was created with Photoshop using filters and layer blending options.  i started with an original photo and ended with this picture.  the concept was to create an image that tells something about yourself that others might not know.  i am a perfectionist and portrayed this by showing an image of me drawing myself to fit what others want to see. kind of deep for an art project, but it turned out cool.
